POV: Volleyball Players During Pink Week

On October 13, Chapelle students gathered together in The Burrow to support our Volleychips in a game against Mount Carmel Academy. This week consisted of multiple donations and activities to bring awareness to Breast Cancer. All of the proceeds from the game and pink week activities went to Tulane Medical Center to assist in research for Breast Cancer.  What added to this special celebration was the fact that students were finally able to come together in the gym, courtyard, and cafeteria to celebrate and show their chipmunk spunk and support their friends in a great game. Eighth-grader Stella Merrill had an exciting time while playing in her first pink week game.

“Everyone was there to watch so even when we made a mistake everyone was cheering and supporting us.  Also, it was awesome to see all the girls coming out to support breast cancer awareness.”
